No doubt about, many of these houses once belonged to Jews. What happened to them? A graphic exhibition, an display boards at the Mihai Eminescu Park, provides information about this. The INSHR (Elie Wiesel National Institute for Studying the Holocaust in Romania) project was realized by local students and teachers, other cities are also involved, including Suceava.
More importantly, the INSHR "Data Base with the Names of Holocaust Victims in Romania" is finally online:
