(2023-05-30/31) There is still snow and ice on the mountain peaks above Borșa. And what is there further down? Open-air cheese dairies with one donkeypower (DP), hay cutting farmers, spinning women, Romani just being there and, last but not least, once again a picturesque Jewish cemetery, also just being there for a long time, i. e. since 1815. There used to be a gold mine nearby, now a modern industrial ruin; it's a pity I didn't find out about it until too late.

Partisans in Romania? Against whom? This region belonged through the war to Hungary. There were no Hungarian or Rumanian partisans!
Where exactly is this cemetery? Is the one in Borsa?
