Alfred Schreyer from Drohobych (08.05.1922 - 25.04.2015)
During my 2011 motorcycle ride via Galicia to Bukovina I had the special privilege to meet Alfred Schreyer on his 89th birthday and to post on May 8, 2011: "Happy Birthday, Alfred Schreyer!" After captivity at the concentration camps Plaszów, Groß-Rosen and Buchenwald, Alfred was the only Jewish Holocaust survivor in Drohobych who lived there during the occupation.
It is with very great sadness that I learned from Marla Raucher Osborn that Alfred Schreyer has passed away in Warsaw on April 25, 2015. R. I. P. dear Alfred!
