We continue to Isaccea. As there is a ferry connection from Ukraine here, we see the first Ukrainian war refugees arriving. They are immediately taken care of by national and international organizations. I have the impression that this is well coordinated. In Tulcea we can't go any further, at least not by motorcycle, because this is where the Danube Delta begins. We take the southern route, pass the Tulcea Synagogue and turn to Brăila, where we use a Danube river ferry again. In the background we see the imposing structure of the new Brăila Danube Bridge. The roadway is still missing, but the bridge is scheduled to open this year.
Enough is enough, Putin may have his agenda, but so do I and after an easygoing 222 km round trip we leave the Dobruja Region northwards.

Absolutely incredible your return trip the leprosarium -- so hard to imagine! You are a great man Edgar Hauster!
Always your friend,
jerome
Never visited this interesting part of Dobrogea. Constanța carmen Silva and Mamaia were the more hospitable places. As usualy I envy your tours.
Have a nice and interesting time.
Berti.
Dear Jerome, dear Berti,
Thank you both so much for your kind comments. You can't imagine how good it feels to have you virtually along for the ride. Chișinău, my next stop, promises to be exciting and interesting. Love & Hugs!
